I attached a few more charges, primed them, then grabbed my bag. The flames at the doorway were low enough for me to slip through the hatch unharmed. I swung my bag over my shoulder and began climbing the stairs.
I started to devise a plan to keep anymore of Kronos' forces from the engine room. Make them think that I didn't plant any explosives. It was risky, but who knows if Percy hasn't been captured.
When I reached the deck, I turned towards the kitchen. I opened the door. The room was empty, so I hurried towards the pantry. There, I grabbed a few jars of preserved fruit and stuffed them in my sack.
When I got out of the kitchen, I headed to the stairwell. I turned to start going down when I bumped into a furry wall. I backed away quickly and looked up. I rode on Blackjack, a black pegasus, with Percy Jackson behind me. We were flying over the Atlantic Ocean towards The Princess Andromeda, a cruise ship that served as headquarters of the Titan lord, Kronos. Our mission was to plant explosives in the engine room, escape into the ocean, and detonate the explosives from half a mile away, all without being noticed by Kronos' army.
Percy was a son of Poseidon, the Sea God. His powers over the ocean would provide protection when we escaped into the ocean, a jump that would kill anyone else. The substance was easy to make, at least for me, or any other child of Hephaestus.
The bright form of The Princes Andromeda neared, and Blackjack began to act nervously. I knew that he was tr

The scent of fish filled my nostrils. I could sense the fish long before I saw them. The motion of them swimming traveling up my sensitive snout. I stopped and waited, my mouth wide, anticipating the slightest touch of fish flesh.
A light tap on my tongue, and my jaws snapped down. A thing squirmed against my locked teeth, tearing itself into shreds. I lifted my head up and snapped the fish down.
I opened my mouth again and waited for another victim. I felt tremors in the water. It was coming from the bank. I instinctively turned to see what was happening.
Two humans were fighting, one was large and wore heavy clothing. The other was small and covered in strange clothing, resembling large leaves. They swung shiny sticks, banging them together.
There were other men, lying on the g
