Yep, that says it all. I have a little time waiting to write an email to write a surprise journal entry. It is hard to believe that it has been 2 months since I started my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am currently serving in Hershey, PA. I love it here. The air smells like chocolate, literally. If any of you live in Hershey or near it and wish to meet me or want to hear more about my beliefs or what I do as a missionary, go ahead and leave a comment or request a missionary visit on mormon.org.
Hmm, I bet many of you have questions about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or Mormons, as many know us as). No, we do not have 12 wifes. 1 is good enough for me. The story of how our church began is a rather long one, but I can tell of the very beginning.
It was started by a man named Joseph Smith in the 1800's When Joseph was 14, his family lived in a place where there was much religious excitement. Many churches argued over interpretations of the Bible and God's word and Joseph became worried of the salvation of his soul. He knew that he must be baptized to be saved, but into which church was the true church?
He visited many of the churches and became only more confused. While reading in the Epistle of James, he came over this scripture: James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Who give it to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." This scripture said that if anybody needed to know something, they should ask of God, who is the source of all truth.
So, one day, he went into the woods near his home. In a grove of trees, he began to offer up the desires of his heart. These are his words of what happened-
"I saw a pillar of light, exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun; Which descended gradually until it fell upon me. . . When the light rested upon me, I saw two personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name, and said, pointing to the other, "This is My Beloved Son, hear Him."
Joseph, saw God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Joseph asked which church was true and Christ told him to join none of them. For although they had the gospel, it had been twisted and changed throughout time that it was no longer true.

That is only part of the message we as missionaries share. God called Joseph Smith to be a prophet in these days and restore the fullness of the gospel and Christ's church once again on the earth.
I know it sounds a little crazy and hard to believe. But I testify to you good people that this is true. That Christ's church is once again on the earth. That a living prophet leads and guides The Lord's people in these the latter days. You too can also know of the truthfulness of my words by doing as Joseph did. Ask God. I promise you that if you sincerely ask God if my words are true, he will send you a witness by the Holy Ghost if it is true.
If you want to learn more, feel free to go to mormon.org where you can even request missionaries to come and teach who live near you. Trust me, there are some over there. My profile on mormon.org will be up soon and you can check it out as well. I believe you can post comments on it as well so if you wish to request some art or have a question about Legends of the North or my other projects, go ahead and ask. Hopefully most of you read this far.
Well, I hope to get another chance to post something in the future, but until then, See you in 2, devs. (actually, 22 months)

I'm far from doing that yet, but it's nice to see someone on deviantART has the same religion and beliefs as me. I haven't found anyone but you so far. I find it brilliant how much you love your mission so far. I dunno why. I think I just like it that I've finally found someone on here.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your mission.
